EWF 16th Anniversary Extravaganza Show

After a nearly 2 month absence, I made my triumphant return to an EWF ring in Covina for its biggest show of the year. Hard to believe its been a whole year since the last anniversary. Benjamin Thomas handled the principal ring announcing throughout the night as I did backstage interviews and announced the main event. Muscle Beach Memorial Day Weekend Pre-Show Videos

I served as host and producer for the 2-part Pre-Show video for the three-day Memorial Day weekend extravaganza taking place at Muscle Beach this year. An assortment of Muscle Beach competitors and other members of the fitness community were on hand to support promoter Joe Wheatley and witness a first-ever posing seminar, led by Cynthia Gonzales and Alberto Barrios. It was a truly fun event.

28-Min. "SoCal Living" Promotional Video Piece for Remax Finest

I served as host, producer, director and editor for a 28-minute program entitled "SoCal Living". Created as a promotional piece for Ontario, CA-based realtor RE/Max Finest in conjunction with the Crossroads Boxing Club (formerly Ontario's Highlanders Boxing Club). I conducted backstage interviews with all of the evening's performers for the EWF's event DVD. Had a great time—got in some solids interviews, especially with EWF Champion "Handsome" Johnny Starr, EWF American Champion "Iron Man" Mike Maze, the A-List and many others.

Highlanders Boxing Club Event in San Bernardino, CA

I served as ring announcer, interviewer and video producer for the Highlanders Boxing Club event held at the American Sports University in San Bernardino (also home to Jesse Hernandez's School of Hard Knocks). The show was a roaring success as I announced 12 action-packed bouts. The event promoter was Tony Cifuentes and the title sponsor was Bernie Valenzuela.

Another stellar night of EWF wrestling, this time featuring some NWA action as the Worlds Heavyweight Champion "Scrap Iron" Adam Pearce defended his title "Hollywood's Own" Joey Ryan. The match brought back memories of my announcing NWA Championship Wrestling from Hollywood a little less than a year ago.

Los Angeles Fitness Expo

I served double-duty as both co-host (alongside Stacey Naito) of the Muscle Beach Venice booth and ring announcer for the Hollywood Sumo Open at the LA Fit Expo, a massive event held at the Los Angeles Convention Center. It was an awesome collection of personalities from the world of fitness, MMA. boxing, pop culture and beyond. Stacey and I managed to score some great interviews.

I attended the annual WrestleReunion pro wrestling convention in Los Angeles for the third time, this time in a press capacity. My tasks included catching footage of a special panel discussion on the history of Southern California wrestling, which included commentary by Superstar Billy Graham, Dick The Destroyer, Jack Armstrong, my personal mentor and colleague Jesse Hernandez and many others. I also interviewed several stars of the Squared Circle including WWE Hall of Famer Sunny, Raven, Low-Ki and more!

EWF Event Featuring "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase

The Empire Wrestling Federation made it's debut at Club Events Center (part of the Everest College campus) in San Bernardino, CA to a packed house. The special guest was WWE Hall of Famer "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase. It was great being able to introduce him to the crowd and host a Ted DiBiase trivia contest. Great wrestling action as well, including a title change as The A-List captured the EWF Tag Team Championships.

2012 Critics' Choice Movie Awards

Continuing my annual freelance tradition, I once again served as an art director and creative consultant for the Critics' Choice Movie Awards for the Broadcast Film Critics' Association and VH1. 5th Annual Muscle Beach Toy Drive

The spirit of the holidays was in full gear as fitness industry professionals, bodybuilding superstars and visitors from all walks of life could be found at this massive toy drive, produced by Joe Wheatley Productions and Bodybuilding.com in conjunction with the LAPD and the Pacific Area Boosters. Along with my buddy Brian White, I filmed the event and conducted interviews with several VIP's in attendance.

This Black Friday supershow turned out to be a real blockbuster with a seriously packed house. The event included the Inland Title Tournament, which was won the previous year by "The Mega King" Tommy Wilson. This year, "Top Shelf" Jeremy Jaeger won the coveted prize. I did extensive backstage interviews as well, to be seen on the EWF's upcoming event DVD.

The Danger Zone Resumes Filming

It was the Hollywood Sisters (Ashley and Nikki) and myself back in gear for the return of the Empire Wrestling Federation's favorite recap and variety show. A heated drama is developing in which the sisters are not getting along, mainly due to the interference of Ashley's "husband", the Mega King Tommy Wilson. Had a great time as always.

Hosting Work for The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf

Alongside Cassie Piper, I served as co-host for a series of promotional videos for The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf. My job included doing color commentary and on-camera beverage tasting as well as interacting with real in-store baristas. The segments will be revealed to top company executives at the Coffee Bean Franchisee Conference in Korea and will also be distributed online and in stores.

I appeared on the Latino television station VMAS-TV's news program to promote the big EWF event taking place on Sunday, September 4th. Anther stellar night of pro wrestling action including the "Royal Wedding" of "The Mega King" Tommy Wilson and my co-host of The Danger Zone, Ashley Hollywood. The wedding was eventually broken up in violent fashion by Brandon Gatson, although I had much support from the crowd that were hoping I would do something as well. It was a blast as always.

Shape Up America Event at the Grove

I served as host/announcer for various combat sports happenings in the ring and did interviews on the red carpet as part of the Big Shape Up America fitness expo, held at The Grove in Hollywood, CA. A bevy of celebrity appearances included Celebrity Fit Club's Harvey Walden, American Gladiator Michael O'Hearn, NBA legend Olden Polynice and many more.
